Romanico Monferrato is an area full of surprises and varying possibilities for tourists, amongst which are some short deviations of the ancient routes of Vie Francigene.
The ancient route that in Medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome has been discovered by modern travellers, who can now walk along these stunning paths.
Romanico Monferrato has an historical and cultural heritage to discover, and the area is even protected by the European Council.
TRANSROMANICA represents the common Romanesque heritage of eight countries in Europe between the Baltic and the Mediterranean Seas.
